Preamble:

EPP Composites Pvt. Ltd. is one of the leading global players in the rapidly growing Composite Industry. EPP was established in 1986 with the intention to develop its place in the Composite Industry with focus on Quality and Customer Service. It is a global multi-product, multi-divisional group that is engaged in manufacturing of Composite Products in India; spread over 250 thousand square feet.

At EPP Composites Pvt. Ltd., the imperative of balancing financial, environmental and social interests predates industrywide acceptance of concepts such as ‘CSR’ and ‘Sustainability Reporting’. Building on over seven decades of social responsibility activities, the Company contributes to inclusive growth by empowering communities and accelerating development through interventions in water & sanitation, health, education and skill development.

Objective of CSR Policy:

The main objective of CSR activity is to make CSR a key business process for sustainable development of the society. Company will act as a good corporate citizen and aims at supplementing the role of Government in enhancing the welfare measures of the society within the framework of its policy. Company will Support social sector development that ensures sustainable change through vibrant and innovative partnerships with non‐government and other social sector organizations. Policy will contribute to activities listed in the Schedule VII of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 accordance with rules framed under.

Governance Mechanism:

We follow structured governance procedures to monitor CSR activities. Our CSR Policy is governed by the Board of Directors of the Company. The Board has constituted a CSR Committee comprising of an Independent Chair and a majority of Independent Directors to monitor the Policy and the programmes from time to time.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, has been recommended by the CSR Committee of the Board and adopted by the Board of Directors.
