Key Features
- “Lip” or curved profile in every mesh opening; smooth edges that shed water and debris; available in standard colors (gray, yellow, green, etc.).
Benefits
- Excellent natural slip resistance without additional materials; easy to clean and maintain; quiet underfoot (no steel clanging). Low wear and does not become slick when wet.
Applications
- General industrial floors, walkways, platform surfaces, catwalks. Especially good for battery parks, utility areas, and subways where fluids may spill and barefoot traffic is possible.
Technical Specifications
- Typically available in 20–38mm thickness. Load rating similar to standard molded grating. Meets slip-resistance criteria (tested to ANSI).
Unique Selling Points (USPs)
- The meniscus shape is the “purest” molded grating surface – inherently slip-resistant and safe. It is often the most economical since no post-mold treatment is needed.
