Applications
FRP ducting is used for scrubber inlet and outlet gas lines, stack liners, bypass ducts, and clean gas transfer. It’s ideal for any Flue Gas Desulfurization application where sulfuric/sulfurous gases are present. FRP is also used in inlet ducts carrying moisture-laden gas (e.g. from pre-scrubbing processes). Custom rectangular FRP ducts provide space-efficient routing when building height is limited.
Technical Specifications
- Sizes: Any cross-section up to 20m span (field-fabricated); length as needed.
- Pressure Class: Generally low (positive pressure FGD gas is ~< 5″ w.g.), but vacuum-rated designs available.
- Fire Rating: Optional fire-retardant resins for building codes.
