Transformer Fencing

High-performance FRP Transformer Fencing provides a safe, durable barrier around electrical equipment. Made of pultruded fiberglass-reinforced polymer, it is extremely lightweight yet high-strength. Crucially, these fences are electrically and thermally non-conductive (eliminating shock risk) and non-magnetic, so they do not interfere with transformer operations or radio signals. The corrosion- and fire-resistant resin formulation ensures long life in harsh environments (unlike painted metal, it never rusts or requires repainting). FRP transformer fencing also offers cost-saving installation: being lightweight, it is fast and easy to install (often bolt-up with minimal tools), and requires no grounding or painting.

Key Features

  • Non-conductive, non-magnetic FRP construction; light weight with strength comparable to steel; UV- and fire-resistant resin; modular bolt-on assembly.

Benefits

  • Superior electrical insulation (no earthing needed); resists corrosion/chemicals; maintenance-free (no rust, repainting, or termite issues); easy handling and rapid installation.

Applications

  • Perimeter fencing for substations, transformer yards and switchgear areas; protective barriers in chemical plants, telecom sites and power distribution hubs; safety cages and walkways around high-voltage equipment.

Technical Specifications

  • Customizable heights (typically 1.2–3 m) and panel sizes, pultruded FRP sections (glass fiber with polyester or vinylester resin) in thicknesses ~8–20 mm; electrically insulating rating (dielectric strength up to several kV/mm).

Unique Selling Points (USPs)

  • Inherently safe around live equipment (electrically “invisible”), won’t corrode or interfere with signals, and offers steel‐like strength at lower cost and maintenance.
