Window Frames

Composite Window Frames made from pultruded FRP offer outstanding dimensional stability and durability. Unlike wood, FRP frames do not swell, warp or rot – they remain rigid in all climates. They are 100% termite- and insect-proof and completely impervious to moisture. A comparative study notes FRP (plastic) frames are “resistant to corrosion, rot, insects and chemicals”, whereas wood will “warp, rot, and termite damage.” The fiberglass core also provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, helping buildings stay energy-efficient and quiet. Our pultruded window profiles can be glazed with standard glass units and offer built-in reinforcement chambers for hardware. Coated with UV-stable polymers, the frames keep their finish and do not require repainting.

Key Features

  • Fiberglass-polyester profiles; non-porous and moisture-inert; compatible with standard glazing systems; built-in color or clear gelcoat finish; low thermal expansion.

Benefits

  • Stable, leak-free window assemblies (no decay or swelling); low conductivity avoids condensation; insulating (saves energy); maintenance-free (never needs sanding/painting).

Applications

  • Residential and commercial window frame replacements; soffit and skylight framing; window sub-frames in coastal or tropical buildings.

Technical Specifications

  • Custom extrusions (e.g. 100×40 mm up to 200×50 mm); pultruded with vinylester or polyester resin and continuous glass reinforcements. Can meet architectural loads and fire rating requirements.

Unique Selling Points (USPs)

  • Combines wooden aesthetics with composite strength – performs “like wood but without the drawbacks”. Ideal for high-moisture or termite-prone regions.
